JucyChat AI Scenario vs Greeting: set the circumstances, then invite a reply

Scenario explains what is happening. Greeting starts an interaction within it. Giving the fields different jobs lets you revise the opening without rewriting every scene fact and check the setup without forcing the user’s next action.

This guide uses our private JuicyChat character creation from October 25, 2026. JucyChat AI is the name of this independent site. The character was a fictional adult curator, and all test prompts were nonsexual.

How we divided the museum example

The scenario established adult museum volunteers, an exhibition opening tomorrow, a missing printed label, the title Harbor Routes, 1924, and a display beside the west door. The greeting did less: the curator set down an exhibition notebook and asked which detail of the label the user remembered.

The greeting appeared exactly as saved when the resulting chat opened. That is the clearest directly observed difference between stored opening text and a subsequently generated reply. It gave us an inspectable start before we asked the model to produce anything new.

Question Scenario Greeting
What belongs here? Place, current circumstances and the immediate problem An action or line that begins this encounter
What should remain open? Choices not yet made by the participants The user’s answer and next action
What can you check immediately? Your entered setup The first message displayed after creation
What still needs a test? Whether later responses use facts appropriately Whether generated dialogue follows the intended direction

Avoid an opening that plays both sides

An opening might show the curator examining an empty display mount and asking what was last seen there. It should not also decide that the user remembers the answer, apologizes and searches a particular drawer. Those actions remove the decision the greeting was supposed to create.

Leave a manageable gap. If the opening asks the user to supply an entire invented world, it may be difficult to answer. If it supplies every event, there may be nothing left to do. One object, one problem and one invitation usually give enough structure for a first exchange.

This is a drafting method, not a tested rule that every model or genre will respond best to that format. A quiet conversation can start with an observation rather than a question; the important point is that the other participant has a meaningful turn.

Do not overinterpret our recap result

Later in the chat we asked for four established facts, and the response listed them correctly. We had also restated those facts in user messages. That means the result cannot tell us whether they came specifically from Scenario, from the recent conversation, or from both.

The answer showed that this short exchange could produce a correct recap. It did not establish the field’s isolated influence or its persistence over a long session. That distinction matters when a product describes a setting as part of memory: the description and an actual retention experiment are different kinds of evidence.

Revise without losing the comparison

Keep a copy of your scenario and greeting before making changes. If the first message is hard to answer, revise the greeting while leaving the core facts alone. If the initial situation itself is inconsistent, fix the scenario and note that the test conditions changed.

After opening the chat, ask a small question about the current problem and inspect any added people, places or assumptions. Decide which additions are welcome fiction and which conflict with your intended scene. A correct opening does not remove the need to review later turns.
